Paula Walker is a member of Team GB Bobsleigh.She is currently ranked 15th in the world. Paula only took up the sport 4 years ago and is already Britain’s No.1 Bobsleigh driver. Paula is also Britain’s hope for Gold in the 2014 Winter Olympic Games.

The fastest recorded speed being 153 km / hr during Vancouver 2010 which has led to Bobsleigh being called the F1 on ice.

Arlesey Town Football Club was established in 1891 and plays in the Zamaretto Central League
Division 1. They are the current holders of the Bedfordshire Senior Cup. There are extensive opportunities available with this improved team.
ARMY WINTER SPORTS ASSOCIATION
The Army Winter Sports Association was founded in 1947. The main aims of the AWSA are to encourage young men and women to participate in winter sports, develop skills in chosen disciplines and test themselves in demanding conditions. The following winter sports are encouraged by the Army: Nordic (Biathlon and Cross Country Skiing), Alpine Skiing, Snowboarding, Bobsleigh, Luge, Skeleton, Cresta. Almost 100 Army athletes have completed in the Winter Olympic Games since 1948.
The Army Sports Charity
The Army Sports Charity is a new charity founded in 2010 to raise money for servicemen involved in amateur boxing. Funds raised are used to support talented soldiers in The British Army to help them with their passion for boxing. On the 11th November, The Army Sports Charity will partner with The Royal British legion at “The Battle of Stamford Bridge” which will take place at Chelsea F.C., The Great Hall. "The Battle of Stamford Bridge" is an evening of boxing and military splendour in support of British military heroes and servicemen. It will feature The Army Boxing Team vs London Amateur Boxing Association as well as charity auction with “mpossible to buy” items.
